Catherine Bach became a TV icon when, unhappy with the wardrobe provided for
her Daisy Duke (183-1985) character, she fashioned short shorts from a pair
of jeans, donned her famous shiny pantyhose, and walked into history. The
term "Daisy Dukes" is now synonymous with cut off denim jean shorts in
popular vernacular. Catherine sold over 5 million copies of her now famous
"Daisy Duke" poster. |
